We're looking for a motivated Trades Assistant to join a world-renowned Underground OEM in their modern Kalgoorlie workshop.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside experienced tradespeople, build your skillset, and secure long-term stability - all while sleeping in your own bed every night.

• Roster: 5:2 - Day shift only (no nights)
• Location: Residential Kalgoorlie role
• Pay: Up to $55ph + Super
• Company: Leading Underground OEM
• Workshop: Modern, well-equipped facility
• Scope: Underground trucks, boggers & load/haul equipment
• Employment: Temp-to-Perm Structure
• Culture: Supportive, safety-first, tight-knit team

Your Role:

Working closely with qualified tradespeople, you'll support workshop operations and gain valuable OEM experience, including:

• Assisting fitters and technicians with repairs and rebuilds
• Loading and unloading equipment and components
• Parts handling and stores support
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas
• Basic mechanical tasks under supervision
• Supporting pre-delivery, servicing, and maintenance work
• Maintaining strong safety and housekeeping standard

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Trades Assistant (preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude or background in mining/heavy industry (advantageous)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good attitude and team-first mindset
• Current Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical & D&A
