Hours & Roster
This role offers great work-life balance and the chance to start your career mining:

• Mon to fri roster with 12-hour days.
• Be home each night but still work within mining
• Gain experience in the heart of underground hard rock mining and build your career from day one.

The Role
You'll work alongside experienced mechanics under the guidance of a workshop supervisor, learning to maintain, rebuild, and learn a fleet of mining equipment with day-to-day tasks including:

• Assisting with rebuilds and maintenance projects.
• Helping with component change-outs and machinery upgrades.
• Supporting commissioning and testing of equipment.
• Assisting with auditing, inspection, and general workshop duties.

Your Skills & Experience
Either light vehicle or heavy diesel trade qualified but mining experience is not required just a strong willingness to learn and upskill within your trade:

• A trade qualification in light or heavy vehicle mechanics.
• Positive attitude, safety-first mindset, and a willingness to learn.
• Interest in building a career in underground mining.
• Willingness to work a structured roster and gain hands-on experience.
• Motivation to grow skills, develop confidence, and eventually mentor others.
