Auto Sparky - Underground Mining | FIFO WA | Temp-to-Perm | 8:6 Roster
Ready to take your career underground and work on cutting-edge mining machinery? We're seeking skilled Auto Sparky's based in Perth to join a thriving underground mining operation in the Goldfields region. Start on a temp contract with a clear pathway to permanent employment with a globally recognised mining contractor.
Why This Role?
8:6 - 7:7 FIFO Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off, followed by 7 nights, 7 days off - giving you excellent work/life balance.
Competitive Pay: $75-$90/hr + super (casual rate) with weekly pay. Permanent rates available after transition.
Modern Equipment: Work on underground machinery all under 5 years old, including Sandvik drills, loaders, trucks, and Normet units.
Convenient Travel: Fly from Perth to Kalgoorlie with daily bus transfers to site.

Your Role:
Work across both workshop and field environments, performing:
Scheduled maintenance, PM work, and component change-outs
Fault finding, diagnostics, and general repairs
Breakdown servicing and drill maintenance
Problem solving and ensuring machinery is operating safely and efficiently
About You:
Trade-qualified Auto Electrician with Cert II in Air Conditioning
Strong electrical systems knowledge and ability to read schematics
Experience with heavy machinery and underground mining equipment advantageous
Dual trade (Diesel Fitter) skills are a plus
Safety-focused, reliable, and a motivated team player who can work autonomously
