Hours & Roster & Relocation

This role offers great work life balance with FIFO or the opportunity for supported relocation with great benefits including:

• 8:6 FIFO roster from Brisbane across both days and nights and 12-hour days

The Role

Reporting to the workshop supervisor, you'll work closely with skilled mechanics on a range of underground mining loaders, trucks, and drills. Day-to-day tasks include:

• Rebuilds and major maintenance projects
• Component change-outs and machinery upgrades
• Commissioning and testing of equipment
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members
• Auditing and inspecting

Your Skills & Experience

You'll come from a heavy vehicle or earthmoving background with strong workshop experience maintaining and rebuilding machinery, ideally with some mining exposure. You'll need:

• LV or diesel trade qualification with mining experience
• Positive attitude towards work, safety, and quality
• Desire to grow skills and develop expertise in underground mining
• Willingness to work a solid roster and take on big hours
• Interest in progressing from temp to perm
• Motivation to support and mentor others while developing your leadership skills
