The Hours & Roster
Enjoy a residential, lifestyle-friendly roster that offers consistency, flexibility, and a great work-life balance
- Choose from a Monday to Thursday roster or a Monday to Friday roster
- Flexible working hours with early starts available (can be discussed further)
- 10-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break
- Residential workshop with plenty of onsite parking
The Workshop
Work closely with a skilled trades team, you'll be involved in preparing machinery before it's deployed to site. This is clean, well-organised workshop work with consistent processes and clear expectations. Key duties include:
- Installing new equipment and components (e.g. fire suppression, safety systems)
- Completing site-specific additions and safety items
- Testing and checking machines to ensure they meet site requirements
- Work across a range of mining gear with approx. 90% of the work being clean, repetitive, and process-driven, making it ideal for learning mining-standard machinery and systems
- You will report directly into the workshop leading hand / branch manager
Your Value
You must be a trade-qualified diesel fitter or mechanic with experience working on heavy vehicles and has the following:
- You must be confident using hand and power tools
- A positive attitude and strong safety awareness
- High attention to detail and pride in your work
- An interest in steady hours and strong earning potential
- A preference for structured, straightforward, process-driven work
- Must be trade qualified and chasing the opportunity to set into the mining industry
