Relocate or DIDO
Great opportunity to relocate to central Victoria or DIDO from Melbourne's northern surrounding suburbs. Benefits include;

The Mine
This site is a large underground hard rock mine located in regional Victoria.

The Role
Reporting to the Mine Manager, you will enjoy working in a close-knit team of experienced electricians. Your duties will include (but not limited to); -
- Managing 3 leading hands and 20 electricians across UG mining and fixed plant
- Ensure project planning aligns with business objectives, consulting with stakeholders, managing project variations, and conducting evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
- Oversee project implementation, monitoring, and reporting to ensure completion on time and within budget, while handling capital expenditure requests as per company procedures.
- Supervise the installation, repair, and servicing of plant and equipment, monitor workloads, and maintain flexibility to provide responsive service in a dynamic environment.
- Identify and promote continuous improvement, ensuring work is completed satisfactorily to minimize rework and faults.
- Manage rosters to ensure adequate coverage for operations and scheduled shutdowns, while assisting with budgeting requirements.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to communicate, manage, and achieve company needs and priorities, providing regular updates to the Mine Manager on achievements, challenges, and innovations.
Your Value
- Trade qualification in Electrotechnology
- Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence (or the ability to apply for a license)
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring experience
- At least 5 years' experience in underground and processing environments (highly regarded)
- Commitment to the successful delivery of projects and team capability
