My client is seeking a highly capable Operations Manager to join there growing team. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing and optimising the delivery operations of all water projects and the team, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality work. Working on projects up to $70m dollars.

Responsabilities

• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day delivery operations of all projects

• Develop and implement efficient delivery strategies and processes to meet project timelines and budgets

• Liaise with project managers, crew leaders, crew and subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration

• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any delivery-related issues

• Manage the allocation and utilisation of resources, including labour, equipment, and materials

• Continuously seek opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and implement best practices

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in a similar delivery operations management role within the water industry working across both Water utilities and Water Structures

• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment

• Excellent people management and problem-solving skills

• Ability to effectively lead and coordinate cross-functional teams

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

• Hands-on experience with construction planning and scheduling software

• Tertiary qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field
