Fire Team Leader

Opportunity to join a national business in the fire services division in Tamworth as a Team Leader

• $65 per hour + super + vehicle
• Mix of maintenance, repairs, & testing across dry, passive and wet fire systems

We're looking for an experienced Fire Team Leader, or a Technician looking to step into a senior role with a well-established national building services provider, based out of their Tamworth office.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position working across a mix of wet, dry, and passive fire systems in service, maintenance, testing, and repairs. You'll lead a small team of two technicians, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering quality service across a wide range of customers and sites.

A key part of the role will also involve subcontractor management, so strong organisation, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a small fire service team (2 technicians)
• Carry out service, maintenance, repairs, and testing on wet, dry, and passive systems
• Manage subcontractors and ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain strong customer relationships across a varied portfolio
• Stay hands-on with the tools while ensuring the team's workflow is efficient

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Fire Technician with experience across wet, dry, and/or passive fire systems
• Strong leadership or mentoring skills, with the ability to run a small team
• Confident managing subcontractors and liaising with diverse clients
• Organised, reliable, and an excellent communicator
• Desire to grow with a supportive and well-respected company
