Lead Restoration Technician - South East Queensland

About the Role
As a Lead Restoration Technician, you'll take charge of coordinating and delivering restoration projects, guiding a small team on-site, and ensuring outcomes meet both client expectations and company standards. This is a hands-on role that combines technical expertise with leadership responsibility. You'll also be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate reports for clients, insurers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support technicians in carrying out restoration works across water, fire, mould, and specialty projects.

  • Manage site safety, compliance, and quality standards.

  • Prepare comprehensive and detailed job reports.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, insurers, and internal teams.

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive team culture.

  • Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to the highest level of workmanship.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the restoration industry (IICRC certification highly regarded).

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce detailed reports.

  • Current driver's licence (company vehicle provided).

  • A positive attitude and commitment to quality outcomes.
