Chiller Technician

I'm seeking an experienced Chiller Technician to join a leading building services provider, servicing major commercial sites across Sydney. This role is open to highly skilled technicians as well as those ready to step up into a Field Supervisor position while still working hands-on in the field.

About the Role
Working within a specialist HVAC service team, you will:

• Carry out preventive maintenance, breakdown response, and repairs on a range of commercial and industrial chiller systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, refrigerant, and electrical faults, replacing or repairing components as needed.
• Perform system performance checks and adjustments.
• Maintain service records, prepare job reports, and liaise with coordinators and clients.
• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and energy-efficiency improvements.
• For supervisors: support a field team, coordinate works, provide technical guidance, and ensure quality and safety compliance while still remaining on the tools.

What We're Looking For

• Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and valid ARCtick licence.
• Proven experience with large-scale commercial chillers, OEM experience will be highly regarded.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Commitment to safety and environmental standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong client relationships.
