The Company
Focusing on commercial hospitality and community projects up to $15m. This young but growing business have really made a name for theirselves in the market and are expanding due to the number of repeat clients they have. The work has increased, and they are looking for a professional and personable additional Project Manager to join their team in Melbourne
The business have been around for just under three years and this will be the first Project Manager brought into the team, offering a promising opportunity for growth, but also mentorship from two Directors with several years working for large builders in the industry.
The Role
You will be reporting to the two Directors so will have complete transparency through all projects. Looking after their staff is paramount to the delivery of projects and you will only ever have up to 2 projects to work on at the same time. The Directors are friendly, straight talking guys with a great sense of humour. They have flexible working arrangements and you can often work from home or amend your hours suited to you. They trust their staff to work autonomously and take control of their work.
Your main responsibilities:
· Project Manage a project through the whole D&C process.
· Supervising and coordinating site managers, contracts administrators and sub-contractors to ensure satisfactory completion of works.
· Monitor and review programs.
· Consult with sub-contractor with issues.
· Implementing short-term programs of work.
· Have the potential to work in a flexible working environment that allows you to work from home.
· Become a brand ambassador for the company.
About You
· 3+ Project Management experience
· Tertiary degree that's relevant to the construction industry
· Trade qualifications accepted - preferably Carpentry.
· Must give of examples of managing a workforce and motivating them to tight deadlines.
· Strong conflict resolution skills.
· Experience managing projects up to $10m
· A passion for delivering high end projects.
· Professionally presented.
· Fantastic communication skills.
Benefits To You
· Attractive salary of $150,000-$180,000 + super (negotiable)
