About the Company
Our client is a boutique residential home builder, with 20+ years experience in the local Central Coast market.
About the role
Day to day duties will include:
- Provide accurate pricing for contracts and variations including appropriate margin considerations
- Obtain relevant quotes and pricing for non-standard variations
- Negotiate rates and costs with preferred and non-standard suppliers, sub-contractors and trades
- Produce accurate documentation within budgeted time lines
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of company products and services
- Preparing accurate BOQ's
- Excellent customer service skills, working with supervisors, suppliers, trades people, contractors
- Maintaining trade and supplier relationships
What You Need
- Minimum 3 years experience working as an Estimator with a residential builder
- Prior experience using estimating and construction management programs - Databuild experience will be highly favourable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications
