About the Company

Our client is a bespoke, high-end residential Builder with a niche focus on knock down re-builds across Sydney's North Shore and Northern Beaches market. All homes are bespoke and architecturally to build a "one of a kind" home for each individual client.

About the Role

We are seeking a Production Estimator with prior experience working for a local residential home builder. You will be supported by a highly experienced team of Estimators and Estimating manager and contribute to a high performing team.

Day to day duties will include:

• Provide accurate pricing for contracts and variations including appropriate margin considerations
• Obtain relevant quotes and pricing for non-standard variations
• Negotiate rates and costs with preferred and non-standard suppliers, sub-contractors and trades
• Produce accurate documentation within budgeted time lines
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of company products and services
• Preparing accurate BOQ's
• Excellent customer service skills, working with supervisors, suppliers, trades people, contractors
• Maintaining trade and supplier relationships

What You Need

• Ideally 4-5 years experience working as a Production Estimator with a residential builder
• Prior experience using estimating and construction management programs - Databuild experience will be highly favourable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications
