Roster and Travel

Enjoy your choice of residential roster. 5:2 or 9-day fortnight (day shift only). Driving to and from site in company time. This is ideally a residential role in Cobar. However, you can live up to 4 hours away and DIDO.

• 5:2 (Monday - Friday) or 9-day fortnight roster
• Day shift only!
• DIDO in company time (if you live further away) with a work ute provided.
• Accommodation provided in house share accommodation in town

Mine site

You will be working at a well known underground hardrock mine in Cobar, NSW.

• Large UG mine site in western NSW
• Join an established client maintenance team with many years of experience on site
• Surface and UG workshops with excellent facilities

The role

As a maintenance planner / PPX Coordinator, you will be responsible for a range of maintenance coordination tasks including:

• Support and enhance maintenance planning processes
• Manage stock to optimize inventory performance, ensure accurate usage tracking, and conduct regular stock counts.
• Coordinate with parts and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of stock and act as the primary contact for unplanned parts needs and supply issues.
• Oversee and escalate equipment and parts warranty claims while managing technical issue tracking with National Product Support and the Product Line.

Your value

You will have come from a background in underground hard rock mining and have worked as an UG diesel mechanic with a good understanding of underground hardrock mining machinery.

• Heavy diesel trade qualification
• Excellent diagnostics skills and ability to first response problem solve
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to develop strong relationships at site
• Ability to manage teams of trades and parts coordinators.
• Previous senior experience in a supervisor or planner role.
