Light Vehicle and Ancillary Fitter

Unique opportunity to look after a fleet of LV's and small trucks back to back with another fitter on a large established site in the Pilbara.

Are you a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic with experience in Heavy Machinery, looking for long-term stability, exciting projects, and a better work-life balance? We're working with a tight-knit, fast-growing WA-based contractor that's active across several key mining sites, offering excellent conditions and career progression.

This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity through Marble Group. You'll start on a 26-week assignment with Marble, and based on performance, may be offered a permanent position directly with the contractor-with the option to transition earlier for the right candidate.

The Role

You'll work independently in the contractor's mobile equipment maintenance division, with a strong focus on workshop-based tasks and some field service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Workshop Maintenance (80%): Servicing, diagnostics, repairs, major component changeouts, fault finding
• Field Service (20%): On-site breakdowns, troubleshooting, diagnostics
• Roster: 8:6 (Day shift only)
• FIFO: From Perth
• Reporting to: Site Supervisor / Maintenance Coordinator
• Team Setup: Work back-to-back with another fitter, managing a fleet independently

Requirements

• Trade-qualified mechanic (Light Vehicle or equivalent)
• Current driver's license
• Able to pass pre-employment medical
• National police clearance
• Dangerous goods clearance (site-dependent)
• Clean-shaven policy may apply (site-specific)
