Process Technician needed for a well-regarded mining contractor at Southeast QLD mine site. FIFO from Brisbane or Sunshine Coast. 8:6/ 7:7 roster FIFO

• Guaranteed 6-12-month contract - likely temp to perm opportunities to client's books
• FIFO from Brisbane or Maroochydore
• Attractive 8:6/ 7:7 roster - days & nights - Tue to Tue
• Full camp set up with meals and accommodation supplied

Duties of the role

Operate processing fixed and mobile plant and equipment to ensure the achievement of shift production goals safely and promptly:

• Operate gold crushing grinding and leaching circuits
• Assist the maintenance team in adhering to maintenance schedules and completing repair tasks
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the plant and support facilities
• Take initiative in recognizing and reporting potential hazards and discourage risky behaviours and actions
• Conduct routine inspections of the equipment and promptly report any identified faults

Your value and experience

• Previous gold processing plant experience (desired but not essential)
• Loader operation experience (ROM)
• Excavtor operation experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised
• Strong safety values
