The Mine & Location

This role is based at a well-regarded mine located just 20km northeast of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Offering a residential role, you will benefit from a short commute each day, returning home to your bed each night.

The Roster

  • No FIFO required, residential role in Kalgoorlie.
  • 5:2, 4:3 roster for work life balance

Duties & Responsibilities


As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and operational efficiency of the Mobile Maintenace Team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring & updating long-term plan (4-Weekly to 12 monthly Machine Preventative Maintenance Plan), Providing the plan for the Loading Maintenance and Support Equipment Department, Running work management meeting for long-term planning schedule
  • Providing component forecast & work orders to parts supplier
  • Preparing planned shut Microsoft Project Gantt charts.
  • Evaluating labour requirements & balancing needed for LT plan resource requirements.
  • Preparing 12-month loading unit shut forecast
  • 12-month component forecast for Budget

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years relevant mining experience in a maintenance environment
  • Computer literacy - Microsoft Office, Pronto Xi
  • Good communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain or exceed best industry practice in all Work Management tasks.
  • Flexibility to adapt to improved Asset Management procedures and practices.
  • Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
  • Exposure to Pronto will be considered advantageous
