The Mine
This is a large, well-established underground hard rock operation in regional Victoria, known for its strong production and long mine life.

The Role
Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, you'll work closely with an experienced, tight-knit underground team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute precise drill and blast plans
- Manage short-term blast schedules, coordinating safety and operations weekly
- Align long-term drill and blast strategies with production objectives
- Collaborate with geology, engineering, and operations to integrate and optimise plans
- Review and refine blast performance with continuous improvement in mind
- Exposure to planning, production and drill and blast
Your Value
We're looking for a motivated and accountable professional who brings:
- A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering
- At least 3 years of underground hard rock mining experience
- Proficiency in Deswik software
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A commitment to accountability, for yourself and those around you
