The role and roster

Reporting to the leading hand on your crew you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the sites CAT boggers and trucks, Sandvik jumbos, Epiroc trucks and Simba's along with charge up equipment. You will be responsible for;-

• Surface workshop - Servicing, general repairs, scheduled and PM maintenance
• Field - Breakdowns, drill services
• 7:7 roster - day shift and night shift (Friday - Thursday)

Your value

You will have come from a background working as an Diesel Mechanic in the UG hard rock mining sector and have the ability to work in the field and workshop autonomously. You will also be armed with;-

• Trade qualifications
• High level of workmanship
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• Team player with excellent safety standards
• Strong knowledge of Sandvik jumbos and Epiroc Simbas (Desired but not essential)
