An exciting opportunity to join a Melbourne-based family-operated custom home builder. As they surge ahead in a significant growth phase, they are on the lookout for a Senior Production Estimator to join their dynamic team.

The Role
- Maintain and update pricing for new and existing products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee the operation of estimating systems to facilitate smooth and effective processes.
- Negotiate contracts with built form suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to secure optimal terms and quality standards.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and production work orders in alignment with budgeted build programs.
- Ensure that estimating formats and procedures maximize speed and accuracy in the estimation process.
- Coordinate Variations, Requests for Information (RFIs), Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and payments as needed.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to inform future allocation decisions and work agreements.

Skills Required
- 10+ years' experience estimating for a custom/volume home builder.
- A trade background is advantageous.
- Proficiency in construction processes and details is essential.
- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel are required. Familiarity with Databuild is a plus.
