Join a leading national Mechanical and Engineering company that specialises in providing solutions and specialty services to the Australian mining, earth moving, drilling, and construction industries. With a strong presence in multiple facilities across Australia, they are dedicated to keeping equipment on the job. Employing over 150 people, their range of services includes mechanical rebuilds, service exchange components, labour hire, field service, engineering and fabrication, asset/equipment hire, plant maintenance and installations, and construction project management.

Job Description:

We are working closely with this industry leader to bring on board an experienced Safety and Compliance Advisor who will take charge of advice, interpretation and guidance on statutory and best practices in the WHS sector, as well as implementing and continually improving safety and quality processes.

This role offers an opportunity to make it your own, and we are looking for a self-motivated, results-driven individual with an ability to support and encourage all of the workforce in line with WHS standards.

Requirements:

• Provide advice, interpretation and guidance on statutory and best practices in the WHS sector
• Implement and continually improve safety and quality processes
• Administer the centralised platform Beakon for compliance reporting and staff inductions/training
• Site visits and site representation on occasions
• Facilitate, co-ordinate and maintain primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for company compliance audits for ISO certification
• Site visits and site representation on occasions

Your skills and experience:

• Certificate IV in WHS (Required)
• ICAM Facilitator (Required)
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation and Return to Work Coordination (Required)
• Current Drivers License (Required)
• Internal Auditor Qualifications (Desired)
• Knowledge of ISO Standards (Desired)
