The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to further your skills and experience with a world-renowned OEM. Along with industry leading training and development opportunities you will enjoy:

• Working on technically challenging projects
• Furthering your skills in a fun and friendly workshop environment
• Developing your skills with highly experienced mentors (upskill into a field service role)
• 7:7 roster - days/ nights - 12-hour shifts (Wednesday - Tuesday)
• Earn an attractive hourly rate plus super + penalty rates on night shift
• Temp to permanent role on the company's books (after a short stint on Marbles books)

The workshop role

Reporting to the workshop supervisor and working closely with experienced mechanics you will enjoy working on technically challenging projects which will grow and shape your skills on UG mining loaders, trucks, and drill rigs.

• Rebuilds - full, half and quarter life - 75%

• Major component change outs
• Machinery/ component upgrades
• Commissioning & testing

• Maintenance, general repairs, and servicing - 25%

Your value

You will have come from a heavy vehicle or earthmoving background and have strong experience working in a workshop-based environment maintaining and heavy equipment.

• Heavy Diesel trade qualification
• Excellent attitude towards work and safety
• High level of workmanship
• Looking to further your skills and develop your experience on UG mining machinery
• Team player and can also work autonomously
