About the Company

Our Client is an award winning Project Home Builder in the Residential Construction space specialising in contract homes, house and land packages, knock down re-builds and dual occupancy residencies. Building over 300 - 350 + homes each year, this Builder prides themselves on their quality product, industry relationships and exceptional customer service.

About the Role

As a rapidly growing Builder, our Client is looking for an additional, highly experienced ArchiCAD Drafter to join their design and drafting team based in Southwest Sydney. You will be joining a team of experienced individuals and be supported by a Design Manager with 20 + years in the residential construction industry.

Duties

• Preparation of presentations and documentation for clients
• Production of drawings to meet client specifications, tenders and variations
• Provide design solutions for custom projects
• Ensure that documentation is compliant with codes, guidelines, standards and regulations including quality checks
• Comprehensive understanding of BCA, NCC and regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, management and internal teams

Skills & Experience

• Diploma in Building Design (or equivalent)
• Proficient and highly skilled with ArchiCAD software
• Minimum 3-4 years experience as a drafter in residential construction or volume building
• Highly organised and strong attention to detail
• Experience working across construction drawings, renders, variations, council drawings etc.
• Comprehensive understanding of BCA, NCC and regulations
