Golden Group have submitted plans for a $3.8bn mixed-use development on the Burswood Peninsula.

The development site neighbours the Optus stadium and prominent Belmont Racetrack, located in Perth’s sport and entertainment district.

The first two buildings due to be completed in the precinct are residential towers of 32 and 27 stories.

The precinct will feature:
  • 4,500 residential dwellings;
  • 60,000+m2 office space;
  • and 40,000+m2 retail.

Not only is the development set to impress – According to a study by Golden Group, more than 25,000 local jobs could be generated by the 20-year redevelopment along with $10 billion injected into the economy.

Tier packages will include early opportunities for civil works, with packages for electrical, building, carpentry and plumbing to follow.

The developer will officially start construction in September on the ambitious eight-tower first stage of the Belmont Park development, with the contract to complete stage one currently out to tender.
