Sunkin Property Group Breaks Ground on Development Site in Melbourne

Sunkin Property Group, a Melbourne-based civil contractor, has broken ground on a new $500 million mixed-use urban renewal project in Highett.

Since approval in March, Sunkin appointed Delta Group for a one year undertaking for the first stage of the Park Village project. This will lay the foundation for the urban renewal project and include new roads, drain replacement and local service upgrades.

This will be one of the most significant renewal projects in the Bayside area and will include 14 residential buildings offering 1048 homes. The site will also include new parklands, a conservation reserve, a public library, a maternal and child health centre and an integrated wellness and fitness facility.

The project will have a commitment to a low-carbon economy, with Sunkin targeting net zero capable outcomes through environmentally sustainable design practices.
