Latest research shows that construction on detached homes and infrastructure through out Australia is at a record high.
The overall dollar value of work across civil, commercial and residential projects has increased by 0.8% even with strict lockdown restrictions in place through out the June quarter.
This trend was reflected across Australia but was particularly noticeable in ACT, QLD and NSW.
Comparing construction on detached residential buildings to pre-COVID June 2019 there has been an increase in activity of 8.5%.
The June quarter saw record highs on rail projects and near records across roads and bridges.
These records are expected to continue into 2022 as these projects continue to help boost the national economy.
