An opportunity is available for an experienced Fire Protection Designer to join an established and growing team, working across a range of commercial and construction projects.

The Role

Depending on your experience, responsibilities will include:

• Producing detailed fire protection designs and technical drawings across wet and/or dry fire systems.

• Preparing design documentation for a variety of building and construction projects.

• Interpreting architectural, structural and services drawings.

• Ensuring designs comply with relevant Australian Standards and NCC requirements.

• Coordinating with project teams, engineers, builders and other trades.

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation.

• Identifying design issues and developing practical solutions.

• Supporting project delivery through accurate and buildable designs.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in Fire Protection Design within a Fire Protection Contractor environment.

• Understanding of wet and/or dry fire protection systems.

• Ability to interpret construction and services drawings.

• Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and NCC requirements.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

• Strong attention to detail and technical capabilities.

• Good communication and ability to work within a team environment.
