HD Fitter - Experienced working on Underground Drill / Cable Bolters

Ready to put your Drill Fitting experience to work with a leading underground mining contractor? We're looking for an experienced Cable Bolter HD Fitter to join a team at an established operation and be an essential part of the productivity of the operation.

This is a role with real ownership. You'll be the go-to specialist for the cable bolter on site, working with a high level of autonomy and passing your knowledge on to the team around you.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as the site specialist on the Sandvik Cable Bolter
• Be on call for breakdowns and get the machine back up fast
• Carry out regular scheduled services and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults
• Train and mentor other tradespeople on working on the drill
• Liaise with supervisors and planners on machine availability and upcoming work

Essential requirements:

• Proven experience on Sandvik Cable Bolters
• Trade qualified HD Fitter or Heavy Duty Mobile Plant Mechanic
• Underground mining experience
• Current driver's licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen

Camp life is a big drawcard too. Solid Meals provided and rooms are being upgraded across site, with en suite, aircon, streaming TV and full phone/WiFi coverage in your own room and throughout camp. Downtime is covered too, with a fully equipped gym plus squash and tennis courts. Site is only 15 minutes from camp.
