The Role
You'll be part of the site's maintenance team, working alongside experienced tradespeople to keep a modern fleet running safely.

• Start in the surface workshop, then get trained and signed off to work across surface and underground
• Electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, repairs and component change-outs
• Breakdown response and preventative maintenance
• Work across UG & surface equipment from loaders, drills, charge rigs, light vehicles, and support equipment etc
• Gear from Sandvik, Normet, Elphinstone, CAT and plenty more

The Site and Roster
The site is in North Queensland, with a short bus transfer from the airport and a social, well-set-up camp.

• 8:6 / 7:7 roster across days and nights - 12 hour shifts
• Modern ensuite rooms with good quality and variety of meals provided
• Indoor and outdoor gym, tennis courts, pool tables and a wet and dry mess
• Regular BBQs and crew catch-ups
• Telstra coverage and Wi-Fi across camp

Your Value
We're after an experienced auto electrician who knows their way around heavy gear and takes safety seriously.

• Auto Electrician trade qualification (Cert III or equivalent)
• Heavy equipment experience is essential, from mining, civil, earthmoving etc
• Cert II in Air Conditioning is highly desired
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Safety-focused team player
• Able to pass a full pre-employment medical and police clearance and must have an unrestricted manaul license
