• Start on a long-term contract with a genuine opportunity to go permanent with the contractor
• 2:2 roster across days and nights (12-hour shifts), so you get real time at home between swings
• FIFO on charter flights from Brisbane or Townsville, with a short bus ride to site
• Join a skilled, close-knit trades crew in a well-run underground and surface workshop

The Role
You'll be part of the mobile maintenance crew, keeping a modern underground fleet running safely and on schedule.

• Scheduled services, inspections, daily fuel-ups and drill fitting, midlife services, major overhauls, rebuilds and component changeouts
• Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, mechanical and basic electrical faults
• Mostly workshop-based. There are dedicated breakdown fitters, so underground breakdown call-outs are occasional
• Fleet includes jumbos, Sandvik trucks, loaders, Spraymecs, agis and a cable bolter and more
• Keeping accurate work orders, parts logs and maintenance records

The Site and Roster
You'll be working at a long-life underground operation in N.QLD close to home with a great camp only 10 mins from site.

• 2:2 roster across days and nights, 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am
• Ensuite rooms with TV and storage
• Gym, pool, basketball court, bar and indoor/outdoor mess
• Regular social events each week
• PPE supplied and a dedicated toolbox unit to store your tools on site

Your Value
You don't need to tick every box - just a good attitude and a willingness to learn go a long way with this crew.

• Diesel trade qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience on heavy machinery, whether earthmoving, civil, open cut or underground
• Underground hard rock experience is highly regarded, but not essential
• Physically fit and comfortable working in hot, humid conditions when needed
• Team player who takes feedback on board and wants to build a long-term career
• Current unrestricted manual driver's licence, able to pass a pre-employment medical, functional assessment and drug and alcohol test and NPC.
