A global mining OEM is expanding its Perth-based workshop and is seeking Pre-Delivery Technicians to join a dedicated pre-delivery and commissioning team supporting major WA mining operations.
This is a 100% workshop-based role, focused on preparing, inspecting and commissioning brand-new underground mining equipment in a clean, structured OEM environment - backed by the right tooling, procedures and experienced trades.
The Opportunity
Lock in a stable, long-term workshop position close to home, preparing brand-new mining equipment for delivery to WA's major sites.
- $60.00 - $70.00 per hour + super
- 10-hour days | Monday to Friday (5:00am - 03:00pm)
- Kenwick location - home every night
- No FIFO, no site work, no night shift

The Role
You'll be hands-on preparing and commissioning new underground mining equipment within a purpose-built OEM facility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new equipment
- Fit-out, testing and commissioning of machines prior to site delivery
- Mechanical, hydraulic & electrical checks
- Installation of accessories, guarding, lights, suppression systems & site-specific modifications
- Fault-finding, quality inspections and sign-off documentation
- Working as part of a skilled, safety-driven OEM workshop team
What You'll Need
- Mechanical trade qualification, or solid hands-on workshop experience
- Entry-level, experienced and dual-trade backgrounds all considered
- Light vehicle mechanics do well in this environment - the fit-out, diagnostics and quality focus transfer directly, and full training on underground equipment is provided
- Exposure to mobile plant, underground equipment or heavy vehicles highly regarded
- Strong mechanical aptitude and genuine attention to detail
- Pride in producing high-quality, compliant work
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A
