Key Responsibilities
- System Diagnostics: Troubleshoot, fault-find, and rectify complex defects within wet fire systems, ensuring all building life-safety systems remain compliant.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance on sprinklers, drencher systems, hydrants, and fire pumps in strict compliance with AS 1851.
- Clear Reporting: Complete clear, highly accurate, and transparent compliance and defect reports via tablet-based asset management software before leaving the site.
- Minor Works: Carry out minor upgrades, valve overhauls, and defect rectifications across a premium portfolio of commercial, strata, and industrial properties.
What You Need
- Trade Qualified: Trade Certificate in Fire Protection (Sprinkler Fitting).
- Licensing: Mandatory and valid NSW licensing for sprinkler fitting work.
- Supervisor's License: A current NSW Qualified Supervisor Certificate is highly desirable
- Accreditation: FPAS accreditation
- Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Australian Standards (AS 2118 and AS 1851).
- Essentials: Current NSW Driver's License and a Construction White Card.
