Marble is proud to be partnering with a leading Tier 1 hard rock underground mining contractor to recruit experienced Underground Electricians across three mine sites within a major project near Norseman, WA.

With a long mine life ahead and genuine long-term opportunity, this is a rare chance to secure stable, well-supported underground work in a tight-knit team environment - a "small mine mentality on a big mine."

The Role: Underground Electrician

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment across underground operations, ensuring safe and efficient production at one of the region's most significant mining projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled and preventative electrical maintenance on electrical components and fixed plant such as conveyors, chutes, ventilation fans, etc.
• Fault finding, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs on underground equipment
• Electrical inspections, servicing, and repairs of HV/LV electrical systems and motors
• Supporting and maintaining Automine automated mining systems (experience highly regarded)
• Supporting safe and efficient underground production activities
• Adhering to safety systems, procedures, and quality standards
• Providing technical expertise to facilitate planned, unplanned, and breakdown maintenance

Roster & Travel

• FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie and Esperance
• Flexible roster options: 2/2, 8/7, or 7/7 Day/Night available
• Three mine sites within a larger project - all near Norseman town
• Short 1.2 hour flight from Perth - direct charter to Norseman

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as an Electrician (Cert III or above)
• High Voltage (HV) Switching Operations certification or ticket
• Proven experience working as an Underground Mine Electrician or similar role
• Automine experience highly regarded
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on underground mining plant
• A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship
