Safety & Training Superintendent

Join a global mining contractor as our Safety & Training Superintendent and ensure that our robust safety standards are upheld every step of the way managing a team of coordinators and liaising with other departments of the mine. With projects spanning almost every continent, you'll be the linchpin in fostering a culture of safety and development within an international setting.

In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible managing a team of HSE and Training professionals. You'll be the key catalyst for risk assessment, incident investigation and management while engaging in leadership activities to empower our workforce.

Required Skills:

• Cert IV in Health and Safety.
• Cert IV in Training and Assessing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in underground mining.
• Minimum 1 year experience in leadership
• Strong experience in ICAM

Nice to Have Skills:

• S1, 2, 3 or G2 qualifications to amplify your safety credentials.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• A solid background in Health and Safety and Training is essential.
• Experience operating underground mine machinery.
• Previous experience working within the mining industry is highly valued.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel to onsite locations.
• Dedication to maintaining a high standard of safety and training across all sites.
