The Role & Duties

Step into a workshop and field service role working across a wide range of fixed plant equipment including planned work, shutdowns and breakdowns. You will be reporting to the supervisors and maintenance superintendent.

• Planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment
• Crushers, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors and rotating equipment
• Shutdown maintenance, component change-outs and equipment upgrades
• Hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication systems to site standards
• Work orders and maintenance documentation through site systems

Your Value

A mechanical trade cert is essential - fixed plant or processing experience is a real advantage but driven mechanical fitters from other backgrounds will be considered.

• Experience with fixed plant equipment - crushers, conveyors, pumps and rotating gear preferred
• Physically fit and able to handle 12-hour shifts across a full 2-week swing
• Safety-first mindset and the discipline to follow site isolation and safety procedures
• Reliable, adaptable and ready to contribute from day one
• Current manual driver's licence
• Able to complete a pre-employment medical and national police check
