A world-class OEM workshop in central N.QLD is looking for tradespeople who are open to relocating and stepping into the mining industry in a long-term position. You'll work residential, building a specialist skillset making you seriously marketable for the rest of your mining career alongside an outdoor lifestyle most tradies chase on their days off.

The Workshop Role

Reporting to the workshop supervisor, you'll be hands-on with the full range of underground mining machinery, working alongside a tight, experienced crew. Your day-to-day will include:

• Major rebuilds and heavy maintenance projects
• Component change-outs and machinery upgrades
• Commissioning, testing, and quality auditing
• Inspections and compliance checks

Your Skills & Experience

You'll come from a heavy vehicle, civil or earthmoving background. Mining exposure is a bonus but not needed - what matters most is your attitude and your foundation as a tradesperson.

• Light vehicle or diesel trade qualification (essential)
• Previous mining experience - underground a definite advantage
• Strong work ethic with a genuine commitment to safety and quality
• Ready to relocate to Mount Isa and commit to the role
• Drive to develop into a true underground mining specialist
• Interest in stepping into a leadership and mentoring capacity over time
• Motivated to convert from temp to permanent role
