We are partnering with a well-established and highly regarded joinery business specialising in commercial and architectural solutions.

With a strong pipeline of projects and a reputation for quality delivery, this organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team.

This is an opportunity to work within a modern, purpose-built facility that reflects the quality of work they deliver. The environment is collaborative and well-resourced, with dedicated teams across estimating, drafting, and operations.

The Role:

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in pricing and securing a diverse range of commercial joinery projects. You will be responsible for managing multiple tenders simultaneously and contributing to the continued success of the estimating function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial joinery projects
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
  • Managing a high volume of projects concurrently (40-60 jobs at varying stages)
  • Liaising with internal teams including drafting, sales, and project delivery
  • Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
  • Maintaining and developing pricing tools, primarily within Excel
  • Supporting the tender submission process and deadlines

You Will Have:

  • 8+ years' experience in joinery estimating (commercial projects essential)
  • Strong knowledge of materials, processes, and architectural joinery solutions
  • Advanced Excel skills (essential as this is a key tool for pricing)
  • The ability to manage a high workload and prioritise effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
