Interior Designer - Volume Builder OTE $90-100K Salary & Commission Based in Camden Region

Our client, is a well-established volume home builder in NSW, delivering premium homes across Sydney, Illawarra, and the Hunter regions. With a strong pipeline of work and new developments including FigTree Hill, they specialise in single and double-storey homes, house & land packages, and knockdown rebuilds-offering a streamlined, customer-focused building experience.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Interior Designer to join a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
You will play a key role in guiding clients through the end-to-end colour selection and design process, managing appointments, and driving upgrade revenue through confident and considered design recommendations.
Working across a high volume of consultations, you'll manage approximately 10 jobs per month, with 2 client appointments per week, and up to 10-15 appointments fortnightly.
Beyond client interactions, the role also involves a strong procurement and product development focus, including sourcing new materials, liaising with suppliers, and contributing to the ongoing evolution of the product offering.
This position offers genuine scope to progress into a Team Leader role for someone who shows initiative and leadership capability.
About You
5+ years' experience in Interior Design, ideally within residential construction or a similar environment
Strong understanding of the end-to-end building and design process
Confident managing client appointments and driving upgrades/revenue
Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport
Commercially aware with a proactive and enthusiastic approach
Key Duties:
Conduct client colour selection and design consultations
Guide clients through finishes, fixtures, materials, and upgrade options
Drive upgrade revenue through confident and informed recommendations
Manage multiple jobs and appointments in a high-volume environment
Source new materials and liaise with suppliers for product development
Contribute to improving internal processes and product offerings
What's on Offer:
$60K - $70K + super + 2% commission on upgrades (OTE $90K - $100K)
