Our client is an Australian owned and family operated business with over 30+ years experience in the construction industry. Building over 300 homes a year across New South Wales, they are renowned for their quality workmanship, client satisfaction and long-standing industry partnerships.

About the Role

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of production estimating across a range of developments.

Duties

• Provide accurate pricing for contracts and variations including appropriate margin considerations
• Obtain relevant quotes and pricing for non-standard variations
• Negotiate rates and costs with preferred and non-standard suppliers, sub-contractors and trades
• Produce accurate documentation within budgeted time lines
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of company products and services
• Preparing accurate BOQ's
• Excellent customer service skills, working with supervisors, suppliers, trades, and contractors
• Maintaining trade and supplier relationships

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 - 3 years estimating experience with a residential builder or developer is preferred
• Diploma in Building and Construction or trade background will be highly favourable
• Prior experience using estimating software and systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills when dealing supervisors, suppliers, trades, and contractors
