About the Role

We are seeking a strong, hands-on Production Manager to lead operations across a busy and high-performing manufacturing floor.

This role is critical in ensuring the smooth delivery of multiple large scale projects simultaneously. You will be managing workflow, people, and production outcomes to a high standard.

You will oversee a large team - driving performance, accountability, and a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations across the factory floor
  • Plan and schedule jobs to ensure deadlines and project timelines are met
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of up to 20-30 staff members
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised manufacturing environment
  • Ensure materials, resources, and workflows are aligned for efficient output
  • Drive accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with internal teams including drafting, estimating, and leadership

About You

  • Proven experience in a Production Manager position
  • Strong leadership presence, confident, decisive, and able to lead from the front
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage teams firmly but fairly demonstrating a no-nonsense, solutions-focused approach
  • Highly organised with strong planning and coordination skills
  • Background in manufacturing, construction, joinery, or similar industries is advantageous
  • Focused on outcomes, efficiency, and high standards
