Experienced HD Fitters -Underground Gold Mine Near Mt Magnet

Long term, immmediate opportunity available for experienced HD Fitters to join a Tier 1 Contractor and work on an exciting underground gold mining project near Mt Magnet. With various roster options available and a competitive pay rate of $85.00ph+ this is an opportunity not to be missed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment.
• Surface workshop maintenance, as well as underground field service and breakdown duties.
• Read and interpret schematics and drawings.
• Work autonomously while maintaining a team-oriented approach.

Essential Qualifications:

• Trade-qualified in a diesel mechanical trade.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, including expertise in hydraulic and electric systems.
• Ability to work autonomously with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of underground hard rock mining equipment.
• Experience in drill servicing.
• Dual trade qualifications as a diesel fitter/auto electrician.
