The Mine, Project & Roster

You'll be based at Olympic Dam, one of Australia's most significant mining operations.

Project details include:

• Current project secured for a minimum of 3 more years, with extensions expected

• Work at the surface workshop, no underground required

• FIFO roster: 7 days, 7 nights, 14 days off

• Fly in on Tuesday (travel on company time) and fly home at the end of swing

• Modern camp facilities featuring wet mess, recreational areas and sports facilities

• Camp located a short drive from site

The Role - What You'll Do

With a minimum of 2+ years post-trade experience, you'll step into a role tailored to your skill set - workshop-based, field service, or a combination of both.

Your duties will include:

• Preventative and scheduled maintenance

• Servicing and general repairs

• Major component change-outs and rebuild work

• Diagnostics, fault finding and breakdown response

• Working on equipment including CAT trucks, loaders, dozers and graders, Atlas Copco drills and Scania trucks

FIFO, Camp & Perks

• Comfortable, modern camp accommodation

• Interstate FIFO available with salary-sacrificed flights to Adelaide

• Paid travel to site on day one and early finish on day fourteen

What You'll Bring

• Cert III in Diesel Mechanics (Heavy Vehicle or Plant)

• At least 2+ years post-trade experience across civil, agricultural, forestry, mining or heavy vehicle equipment

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capability

• Safety-first mindset with pride in workmanship

• Willingness to learn, upskill and work as part of a team
