The Project & Roster

Located in central QLD within the Bowen Basin this large open cut coal mine site offers:

• Excellent training and development, including OEM training
• Lifestyle friendly 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off (Wednesday-Tuesday)
• FIFO from Brisbane and Townsville & transport to site is provided
• Full camp set up with ensuite rooms and recreational facilities including a gym
• Site located 20 minutes bus ride from the camp

The Duties

Everyday will be different on site, this can be working in the workshop, out in the field or both!

• Working in a well-connected and experienced crew ofd tradespeople
• Attending breakdowns, repairs, PM and general maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics, problem solving and more
• Machinery will include working on an extensive range of open cut CAT earthmoving equipment

Your Skills & Experience

You must be trade qualified and have heavy diesel experience on earthmoving, civil or mining equipment which will put you in a great position to start on this site. You will also have the following

• Trade qualifications in a heavy diesel discipline
• CAT earthmoving equipment knowledge is highly desired
• A strong desire to forward your skills in the mining industry
• An excellent attitude towards work and safety values
• Pasion for mechanics and forwarding your skills
• A team player and able to work autonomously
• Reliable and dedicated to the position
