Step into a senior opportunity with one of Australia's longest-running gold operations. You'll play a pivotal role in mine planning, design, and production performance ,driving accuracy, efficiency, and safety while mentoring the next generation.
The Opportunity
Working on an 8:6 FIFO roster ex Perth, you'll be responsible for leading and coordinating the underground engineering team to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant mine plans.
Key accountabilities include:
- Developing and optimising production schedules, drill & blast designs, and stope sequencing.
- Overseeing stope performance, reconciliation, and continuous improvement of production outcomes.
- Mentoring junior engineers and fostering technical growth within the team.
- Ensuring statutory compliance and technical accuracy in planning and execution.
- Collaborating with geology, survey, and operations to drive alignment and productivity.
Your Value
- Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering.
- 5+ years of underground hard-rock experience, ideally in gold mining.
- Proficiency with Deswik CAD and Deswik Scheduler software.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A proactive, accountable mindset and commitment to safety and precision.
