About the role:

Joining a reputable business in the commercial joinery space who pride themselves on quality and attention to detail.

As the business continues to expand they are looking for a skilled Microvellum Drafter with strong cabinet making knowledge to to join their production team based on the North side of Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create precise and production-ready shop drawings using Microvellum.
• Generate cut lists, CNC files, and material take-offs for cabinet fabrication.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and production team to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.
• Revise drawings as needed based on client changes
• Maintain consistency with company drafting standards and procedures.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microvellum is required (minimum 1-2 years of experience).
• Strong background in cabinet making, shopfitting or carpentry
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and cabinet shop drawings.
• Knowledge of cabinet hardware, materials, and construction techniques.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trade background in cabinet making, carpentry, Joinery or machining would be advantageous
• Hands-on cabinet shop or fabrication experience is a strong plus.
