We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage the full spectrum of financial operations across our group of companies. Reporting directly to the Directors, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily financial and asset functions, providing strategic insights, and ensuring smooth compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

This is a key role in supporting our leadership team with high-quality financial reporting, payroll, budgeting, and asset management - all while contributing to a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a senior accounting role

• Oversee full finance and accounting operations, including payroll, supplier payments, reconciliations, and cashflow

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis for Directors

• Manage all tax compliance including BAS, IAS, payroll tax and superannuation

• End-to-end payroll processing, including award interpretation and termination payments

• Coordinate external audits and liaise with external accountants

• Lead financial aspects of asset management

• Maintain supplier and client financial relationships

• Support ongoing improvements to financial procedures and internal controls

• Assist in project-based accounting and reporting where required

• Degree qualified in Accounting

• Strong knowledge of the full financial cycle and cash flow management

• Payroll processing experience including tax and superannuation calculations

• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)

• Excellent attention to detail and reconciliation skills

Preferred Criteria

• Previous work experience in the Electrical or Construction Industry

• Exposure to quality systems and HR administration

• Asset management and project accounting experience
