About the company

The company offer comprehensive design and construct services with comprehensive project management services.

They have a strong portfolio across diverse sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Public facilities with over 200 completed projects plus a strong pipeline of work, they are looking for a Site Manager to help with an education project for the next 5 months.

About the role

• Oversee the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors, manage site teams, and ensure adherence to health & safety regulations.
• Maintain open communication with the client and project stakeholders.
• Manage quality control and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
• Document site activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and variation tracking.

What you'll bring

• Trade Qualification: Carpentry, ideally with 5+ years as a Site Manager within the commercial space (educational sector preferred).
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• Proven track record in managing commercial refurbishments, particularly in education.
• Ability to run multiple aspects of a site independently and effectively.
• A practical, hands-on approach to site management with a focus on quality and safety.
• Trade qualifications in carpentry are essential for understanding the hands-on elements of the project.
