Your skills and experience

You will come from a diesel trade background with prior experience working in the mining industry. You must have experience working on mechanical and hydraulic systems and come armed with; -

• An excellent attitude towards work
• Team player and can work autonomously as well as in a team
• Mobile plant mining equipment experience
• Ability to work in the field and workshop
• Safety first mentality

The Role:

Reporting into the maintenance leading hand on your crew you will enjoy working in a crew focused on workshop and field service-based maintenance duties working on Sandvik, Epiroc and CAT equipment. Duties include:

• Workshop - servicing, scheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance, component change out, general repairs, fault finding and diagnostics
• Field service (when experienced enough) - breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, problem solving
• Machinery - UG mining trucks, boggers, drills, graders, charge up equipment and LV's

Relocation or DIDO:

Opportunity to relocate anywhere in Tasmania from the mainland Australia, or the option to DIDO with accommodation provided.

• Relocation to a residential role with added benefits inc salary sacrificed rent and a $9,500 annual residential allowance
• DIDO with a well-equipped mining camp and high standard of meals on offer for those doing long distance DIDO.

The Roster:

You will enjoy working a day shift only roster, working 12-hour shifts

• Thursday - Wednesday
• 30am - 5.30pm
