About the Company:

This well-established construction business has been operating for 5+ years with a focus on delivering a high-quality product. They are currently going through a growth phase and are seeking a motivated and proactive estimator to join their team.

The Role:

Working alongside a collaborative team, the role would be part of a busy estimating division. The successful candidate would work across a variety of projects, this diverse range will see you expand and develop your skillset.

Reporting to an experienced Estimating Manager your duties will include but not be limited to;

• Accurately estimating and assessing building materials required for each job throughout all stages of construction
• Quantifying materials and labour required on each job
• Liaising with key stakeholders internally and externally
• Maintaining accurate documentation on all files
• Producing accurate documentation within budgeted timelines
• Resolving ordering oversights and making amendments as required
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of company products and services
• Excellent customer service skills, working with supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors, maintaining and improving at all times.

To be successful you will need:

• First and foremost a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a growing team
• Minimum 3+ years experience estimating in the Residential Home Building Space
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Experience working with DataBuild is ideal
• A strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
