Join a major UG mining contractor in WA. Enjoy a choice of roster - 8:6, 7:7, 2:2 or 2:1. OEM training, good crew culture, job security + progression

The role:

Pending on your skills and experience you will start within the surface workshop integrating into a well-connected team of 5 on site. Reporting into the leading hand and maintenance foreman on crew you will be responsible for;-

• Undertaking scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, and fitting parts
• Attending breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostic work, and providing technical support
• Working on mostly Sandvik trucks, boggers and drills as well as more
• Wonderful team culture on site with a relaxed atmosphere
• Large workshop with concrete pads and overhead cranes, all under cover and shaded.

The Roster:

Your choice of roster including 2/1, 2/2, 7/7 or 8/6 - 12 hour days including both day and night shift.

• Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday flights into site (from Perth)
• Fly in company time on day shift
• Charter or commerical flights

The Mine Site:

The mine is a 2hr journey from Perth and offers flights from Perth, Geraldton and Busselton. The contractor has been on site for 3 years and has a long-term contract with the principal on site offering long term job security.

• En-suite rooms, with AC and good night shift shading
• Extensive range of food options and a well-managed Wet Mess

Your skills and experience

All experience levels are welcome however as a minimum you will be trade qualified in light vehicle or heavy diesel.

• 1-2+ years' experience working civil, road transport, agricultural or mining
• Have an excellent attitude towards work and developing new skills
• Be a team player and enjoy working with likeminded individuals
• Can work autonomously and a willingness to "have a go"
• Posses a safety first attitude
